Indie Design Gift-a-Long: Sweater Weather
The purpose of the Gift-a-Long is to mutually craft our way through the holiday season: get those holiday gifts finished on time and have fun doing it! But with so many good deals, it's also a great time to indulge in a few patterns for yourself, for after the holiday madness has run its course.
Since I've declared 2015 year of the Cardigan Comeback, I thought I'd show you a few cardigan patterns you can pick up at a discount, before sale week ends on November 21! And a few pullovers too, just in case you've decided to make 2015 your Year of the Pullover.
Triona Murphy's Chandail features wide ribbed button bands and chunky cables.
Marnie Maclean's Atlanta is a slim-fitting cardi with interesting ribbed details.
Hanna Maciejewska's Wink is a long cozy cardigan with lovely chunky cables.
And Julia Trice's Moonshiner has charming surprise patterning on the back!
Julia pops up again in the pullover department with Elia . . .
As does Hanna, with Cabeladabra. (I bought this one, it's on my MUST KNIT list!)
Alicia Plummer's DownEast pullover looks super cozy, with a big comfy collar.
And Bristol Ivy's Oranmore is full of crisp cables and fun detailing around the collar.
Have you done your Gift-a-Long shopping yet? Which patterns did you buy? Don't forget, while the KAL/CAL runs through December 31, sale week ends November 21! (And all my self-published patterns are included in the sale!)
