Pattern Debut: Madrugada
Month 2, design #2 for 2016! I'm so excited to share another new pattern with you, part of Louet North America's Spring collection!
Madrugada is a light spring pullover featuring eyelet stripes, 3/4 length sleeves, a wide neckline and a gently curved hem, shaped with short rows.
It's worked in Louet Gems, a fingering weight yarn, at a looser gauge (about 5.5 sts/inch), and knit seamlessly from the top down. The sleeves feature rolled hems while the collar and bottom hem are finished off with just a few rounds of garter stitch.
Madrugada is Spanish for "dawn," which I imagine is the perfect time of day to wear this sweater--and I love that the pictures give it the same feel! The sun is just coming up, the air is still chilly, you need a light layer until the day warms up.
Please pop over to Ravelry to heart, queue or purchase this pattern for $7.50!
