Fall is here! And you know what that means--SWEATERS! I know I've got at least 5 dream sweaters I'm totally going to knit this season--and today I've got a new one for you too! Meet Lewisburg, my newest design now available as part of Knit Picks' gorgeous new collection Encircled.

Lewisburg features a playful colorwork design around the yoke, while the rest of the sweater is worked in plain (fast!) stockinette, with contrast trim to make the sweater POP! Worked seamlessly from the top down, this modern interpretation of a traditional fair isle pullover also has an updated shape--elbow-length sleeves and a close-fitting body that just skims the hips.

Lewisburg is worked in 5 shades of Knit Picks Palette, a sturdy fingering weight wool that comes in approximately 437 shades--OK, I may be exaggerating, but it's actually 150, which is still quite impressive--the color combos are endless! KP picked these shades for the sample, and while I never would've put them together myself, they're just stunning.

Lewisburg is available exclusive through Knit Picks--you can purchase it as part of the complete Encircled collection--in both print and ebook form--or grab the individual pattern
