I'm pretty psyched about this sweater. It could've used perhaps a tad more waist shaping, but that's about it. The yarn is soft and warm, I love the color, and I've been wearing this sweater every time it's cool enough. I made the mistake of NOT wearing it to Rhinebeck--I wanted to wear one of my own designs, and the only sample I had was cotton--and froze my butt off, but I did wear it on the drive up and the drive home.

The only mod I made was to use the contrast color on the inside of the collar, which I think gives it a nice pop (although it's not really visible in these photos, which we took about an hour after I got back from Rhinebeck). I know some knitters opted to do the body in stockinette, but I love the garter stitch, it feels extra squishy and cozy.

I am having a little trouble keeping the buttons fastened and am wondering if I should finally learn how to back a button band for more stability.

Now that I have a new cardigan in my wardrobe, I'm reminded why I started this project, and really hoping I can magically find time to knit at least one more for Cardigan Comeback!
