Pattern Debut: Frosting

Frosting boot topper knitting pattern by Kristen Jancuk, MediaPeruana Designs

It's here! Fall is (un)officially here!

To celebrate, here's a quick FREE pattern for you--Frosting! Available exclusively from Knit Picks, these boot cuffs knit up quickly in Biggo, a 50/50 wool acrylic blend that's soft, cozy and perfect for colder weather.

I love the look of wooly socks peeking out of boots, but fitting those socks into the boots is tricky. These toppers give you the same look without the added bulk.

A long ribbed hem holds them in place and keeps them tucked in. The herringbone design is created with simple slipped stitches, making this a great beginner project, or a quick knit for more experienced knitters. The pattern includes 4 sizes, and uses 2-3 skeins of yarn.

Happy Autumn!!
